- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup milk
- Optional: 1/2 cup of your favorite topping(s)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the melted butter and milk.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- If desired, add your favorite topping(s).
- Pour the batter into a greased 8x8 inch baking dish.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before cutting into slices and serving.
