  • 9 lasagna noodles

Directions

  1. Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  3. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  5. Place three lasagna noodles on top of the sauce, slightly overlapping each other.
  6. Spread half of the ricotta cheese mixture over the noodles.
  7. Arrange half of the sliced apples on top of the ricotta cheese.
  8. Repeat the layers with three more lasagna noodles, the remaining ricotta cheese mixture, and the remaining sliced apples.
  9. Top with the final three lasagna noodles and spread the remaining marinara sauce over them.
  10. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  11. Remove the foil and sprinkle the top with additional grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
  12. Bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  13. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
