Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas
- 1/4 cup of granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon of ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon of ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon of ground cardamom
- Vegetable oil for frying
Directions
- Peel and mash the bananas in a large bowl until smooth.
- Add the sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and cardamom to the mashed bananas and mix until combined.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Drop spoonfuls of the banana mixture into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 2 minutes per side.
- Remove the fritters from the oil and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
