Ingredients
- 1 cup of shredded coconut
- ½ cup of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of ground nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon of ground cardamom
- 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- ½ cup of water
Directions
- In a medium saucepan, combine the shredded coconut, sugar, nutmeg, cardamom, cinnamon and water.
- Stir the ingredients together and place the pan over medium heat.
- Stir the mixture constantly until it begins to thicken and the sugar has dissolved.
- Remove the pan from the heat and let cool for 5 minutes.
- Using a spoon, scoop small amounts of the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Let the mixture cool completely before serving.
