- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup peeled and chopped apples
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cinnamon, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- In a large bowl, mix the brown sugar, butter, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth. Add the flour mixture and mix until just combined.
- Fold in the apples and walnuts. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before removing and transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
