Ingredients
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) of butter
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) of lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) of white wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) of chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon (1.25 ml) of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon (1.25 ml) of white pepper
- 2 egg yolks
Directions
- Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium-low heat.
- Add the lemon juice, white wine vinegar, parsley, salt, and white pepper and stir until blended.
- Remove the pan from the heat and whisk in the egg yolks, one at a time.
- Return the pan to the heat and cook, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens.
- Remove the pan from the heat and serve the sauce warm.
