Ingredients

  • 1 pound of spaghetti or other pasta
  • 4 strips of bacon, diced
  • 1/4 cup of finely grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups of heavy cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon of ground black pepper
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup of finely chopped fresh parsley

Directions

  1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions.
  2. Meanwhile, cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crisp. Remove the bacon from the skillet, leaving the bacon fat in the pan.
  3. Add the garlic to the pan and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Add the cream and bring the mixture to a simmer. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Add the parmesan cheese and pepper and stir until the cheese is melted.
  6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and stir to combine.
  7. Add the bacon and parsley and stir until everything is combined.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!
