Ingredients
- 1 pound of pork, cut into cubes
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon of ginger, minced
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 2 cups of Udon noodles, cooked according to package instructions
- 1/4 cup of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon of sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon of red pepper flakes (optional)
Directions
- Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the vegetable oil and pork cubes and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally until the pork is golden brown.
- Add the onion, garlic, and ginger and cook for 1-2 minutes until the onion is softened.
- Add the bell pepper and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Add the cooked Udon noodles and stir to combine.
- In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Pour the sauce over the noodles and stir to combine.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the noodles are heated through.
