Ingredients
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup of butter, softened
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 1/2 cup of brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 2 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup of chocolate chips
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- In a large bowl, cream together the peanut butter and butter until smooth. Add the sugars, baking soda, baking powder, and vanilla extract and mix until combined.
- Add the egg and mix until combined.
- Add the flour and mix until combined.
- Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Roll the dough into a log and cut into 1 inch slices.
- Place the cookie slices onto an ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 10 minutes.
- Remove from oven and let cool on cookie sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
