Ingredients
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons white vinegar
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
Directions
- In a medium saucepan, combine the pineapple juice, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, vinegar, and brown sugar. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook for 5 minutes.
- In a small bowl, combine the cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of cold water and stir until smooth. Add to the saucepan and continue to simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce has thickened.
- Remove from heat and allow to cool before serving.
