Ingredients
- 1 lb. bologna, cut into 1/2 inch slices
- 2 cups white vinegar
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tsp. mustard seed
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1 tsp. celery seed
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions
- In a medium saucepan, combine all the ingredients except for the bologna.
- Bring to a boil over medium-high heat and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and let cool.
- Place the bologna slices in a shallow dish.
- Pour the cooled pickling liquid over the bologna and let marinate for at least 20 minutes.
- Serve chilled.
