Ingredients

  • 4 large bell peppers
  • 1 pound thinly sliced beef steak
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 8 slices provolone cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds and membranes. Set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef and cook until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the sliced onion, green bell pepper, and red bell pepper. Cook until the vegetables are tender and slightly caramelized.
  5. Return the cooked beef to the skillet with the vegetables. Add the Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  6. Place the hollowed bell peppers in a baking dish. Fill each bell pepper with the beef and vegetable mixture. Top each bell pepper with two slices of provolone cheese.
