Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 28-oz can diced tomatoes
1 6-oz can tomato paste
1/2 cup red wine
1 tsp oregano

Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F.
In a large skillet, cook beef, onion, and garlic over medium-high heat until beef is browned, about 10 minutes.
Add tomatoes, tomato paste, wine, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Simmer sauce for 20 minutes.
Cook lasagna noodles in boiling water for 10 minutes, or until al dente. Drain and rinse with cold water.
In a 9x13-inch baking dish, spread a thin layer of sauce on the bottom. Top with a layer of noodles.
Spread a layer of ricotta cheese over the noodles, followed by a layer of sauce. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, ending with a layer of sauce. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
Uncover and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
