Ingredients
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1 cup water
- 2 teaspoons peppermint extract
- 1/2 cup vodka
- 1/4 cup brandy
Directions
- In a medium saucepan, combine the sugar, corn syrup, and water. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar is dissolved.
- Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the peppermint extract. Allow the mixture to cool.
- In a large glass container, combine the cooled syrup and the vodka and brandy. Stir to combine.
- Cover the container and store in a cool, dark place for at least 2 weeks, stirring occasionally.
- After 2 weeks, strain the mixture into a clean container and discard the solids.
- Transfer the liqueur to bottles and store in a cool, dark place for up to 6 months.
