Ingredients
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 1/4 cup vegetable stock
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
- 1/2 pound smoked salmon, cut into strips
- 1 pound pasta (linguine, spaghetti, or penne)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt to taste
Directions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to the package instructions.
- Meanwhile, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add the smoked paprika, black pepper, and white wine and cook for 1 minute.
- Add the vegetable stock, cream, and dill and bring to a simmer.
- Add the smoked salmon and cook for 2 minutes.
- Drain the pasta and add it to the skillet. Toss to combine.
- Taste and adjust the seasoning with salt, if needed.
- Serve the pasta with the creamy smoked salmon and dill.
