In a large bowl, mix together the peanut butter, sugar, egg, baking soda, salt, and vanilla extract.
Add the chocolate chips and stir until evenly distributed.
Drop by tablespoonfuls onto a greased baking sheet.
Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
