Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 bunches spinach, washed and roughly chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

Directions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the garlic and red pepper flakes and cook for 1 minute.
  3. Add the spinach and season with salt and pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the spinach is tender and beginning to wilt, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add the lemon juice and cook for 1 minute more.
  5. Serve immediately.
