Ingredients

  • 1 pound jumbo lump crabmeat
  • 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise or vegan mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon of Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon of Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/2 cup of almond flour
  • 2 tablespoons of melted coconut oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of freshly ground pepper

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, gently mix the crabmeat, mayonnaise, Old Bay, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and parsley.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine the almond flour, coconut oil, sea salt, and pepper.
  3. Gently combine the wet and dry ingredients until fully incorporated.
  4. Form the crab mixture into 2-inch patties.
  5. Heat a skillet on medium-high heat and add the crab cakes.
  6. Cook for 3-4 minutes each side, or until golden brown.
  7. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
