Ingredients

  • 1 pound sirloin steak, sliced into thin strips
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 cups cooked long grain white rice
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onions
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix together the soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes.
  2. Add the steak strips and toss to coat. Let marinate for 15 minutes.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak strips and stir-fry for 5-7 minutes, or until the steak is cooked through.
  4. Add the cooked rice and green onions to the skillet and stir to combine. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
