Ingredients

  • 1 9-inch unbaked pie shell
  • 1 (15-ounce) can pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cold butter, cut into small pieces

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and cloves.
  3. Whisk in the eggs and heavy cream until the mixture is smooth.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared pie shell.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix together the brown sugar, cream cheese, and flour until smooth.
  6. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the top of the pumpkin mixture.
  7. Sprinkle the butter pieces over the top of the pie.
  8. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the center is set.
