Ingredients
1 loaf day-old French bread, cut into 1-inch thick slices
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup molasses

3 large eggs
1/2 cup whole milk

Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a medium bowl, mix together the brown sugar, molasses, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and allspice. Set aside.

Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, coating both sides. Place on a baking sheet.
Spoon the molasses mixture over each slice, ensuring both sides are evenly covered.
Drizzle each slice with melted butter.
Bake in preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
Serve with desired toppings.
