Ingredients
2 eggs
1 cup of sugar
1/2 cup of butter
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
2 tablespoons of orange zest
2 cups of all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1 cup of semisweet chocolate chips
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, cream together eggs, sugar, butter, vanilla extract, and orange zest until light and fluffy.
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until combined.
Stir in the chocolate chips.
Drop the cookie dough onto a greased baking sheet, 2 inches apart.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until lightly browned.
Remove from oven and let cool before serving.
