Ingredients
- 1 whole pumpkin
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Optional: garlic powder, chili powder, or other spices
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Wash the pumpkin and cut off the stem.
- Place the pumpkin on a cutting board and cut it in half using a large knife.
- Scoop out the seeds and stringy parts from the pumpkin halves.
- Place the pumpkin halves cut-side-up on a baking sheet.
- Drizzle the olive oil over the pumpkin halves and season with salt and pepper.
- Optional: add garlic powder, chili powder, or other spices, to taste.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the pumpkin is tender and lightly browned.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
