Ingredients
1 whole pumpkin
1/4 cup olive oil
Salt and pepper, to taste
Optional: garlic powder, chili powder, or other spices
Directions
Preheat the oven to 375°F.
Wash the pumpkin and cut off the stem.
Place the pumpkin on a cutting board and cut it in half using a large knife.
Scoop out the seeds and stringy parts from the pumpkin halves.
Place the pumpkin halves cut-side-up on a baking sheet.
Drizzle the olive oil over the pumpkin halves and season with salt and pepper.
Optional: add garlic powder, chili powder, or other spices, to taste.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the pumpkin is tender and lightly browned.
Serve warm or at room temperature.
