- 2 1/2 cups rolled oats

Directions
- In a large bowl, combine the oats, flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- Add the brown sugar and stir until everything is well combined.
- Spoon the cookie mix into a 1-quart jar and seal tightly.
- Attach a gift tag with the following instructions: Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a baking sheet. In a medium bowl, mix 1/2 cup softened butter, 1 egg, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Add the cookie mix and stir until well combined. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on the baking sheet for 2 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
