Ingredients

  • 1 package wild rice spaghetti
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Directions

  1. Cook the wild rice spaghetti according to package instructions.
  2. While the spaghetti is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the chicken and season with oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Cook until the chicken is golden and cooked through, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add the onion, garlic, and bell pepper to the skillet and cook until the vegetables are softened, about 5 minutes.
  5. Add the chicken broth and white wine and bring to a simmer. Simmer for about 5 minutes.
