- 1 9-inch pie crust
- 2 cups frozen sliced strawberries
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar

Directions
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Roll out the pie crust and place in a 9-inch pie plate. Crimp the edges and bake for 12 minutes, or until lightly golden.
- In a medium bowl, combine the frozen strawberries, cornstarch, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir until combined.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pie crust and spread evenly.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
- In a medium bowl, beat the heavy cream and confectioners' sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Spread the whipped cream over the top of the pie and chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
