1 9-inch pie crust
2 cups frozen sliced strawberries

Directions
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

In a medium bowl, combine the frozen strawberries, cornstarch, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir until combined.
Pour the mixture into the prepared pie crust and spread evenly.
Bake for 30 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
In a medium bowl, beat the heavy cream and confectioners' sugar until stiff peaks form.
Spread the whipped cream over the top of the pie and chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
Interesting Facts
The pie crust can be made from scratch or store bought.
To make the whipped cream extra fluffy, add a pinch of cream of tartar.
This pie can be served either cold or at room temperature.
