Ingredients
- 2 pounds parsnips, peeled and cut into 1-inch pieces
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
- Spread the parsnips in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the honey, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and allspice and stir until combined. Pour the glaze over the parsnips and toss to coat.
- Bake for 20 minutes, stirring once halfway through.
- Remove from the oven and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot.
