Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8-inch round cake pan.
- In a medium bowl, combine the flour, oats, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
- Beat in the flour mixture alternately with the milk, beating just until incorporated.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
