Ingredients

- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 1/4 cup of small tapioca pearls
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- Optional: cinnamon and nutmeg for garnish
Directions
- In a medium saucepan, add the milk, sugar, tapioca pearls, and salt and stir to combine.
- Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally.
- Once the mixture is simmering, reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
- Transfer the pudding to individual serving dishes and let cool for 10 minutes.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg if desired and serve.
