Ingredients
- 1 cup long grain white rice
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups water
Directions
- In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add the rice and turmeric and stir to coat.
- Add the salt and water and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let stand for 5 minutes.
- Fluff with a fork and serve.
