Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound (8 ounces) elbow macaroni
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil over high heat. Add the macaroni and cook for 7 to 8 minutes, or until al dente. Drain the macaroni and set aside.
