Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 5 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 1/4 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup finely chopped almonds
- 1 cup coconut
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 tablespoons cream
- 2 tablespoons custard powder
- 2 cups icing sugar
Directions
- In a medium saucepan, melt 1/2 cup butter over low heat.
- Stir in sugar and cocoa powder.
- Add beaten egg and stir until combined.
- In a separate bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, chopped almonds, and coconut.
- Add egg mixture to crumb mixture and mix until combined.
- Press into an ungreased 8x8 inch pan.
- In a small saucepan, melt 1/4 cup butter over low heat.
- Remove from heat and stir in cream, custard powder, and vanilla.
- Stir in icing sugar until smooth.
- Spread over crumb mixture.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before cutting into bars.
