Ingredients
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup sugar
5 tablespoons cocoa powder
1 egg, beaten
1 1/4 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/2 cup finely chopped almonds
1 cup coconut
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup butter
2 tablespoons cream
2 tablespoons custard powder
2 cups icing sugar
Directions
In a medium saucepan, melt 1/2 cup butter over low heat.
Stir in sugar and cocoa powder.
Add beaten egg and stir until combined.
In a separate bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, chopped almonds, and coconut.
Add egg mixture to crumb mixture and mix until combined.
Press into an ungreased 8x8 inch pan.
In a small saucepan, melt 1/4 cup butter over low heat.
Remove from heat and stir in cream, custard powder, and vanilla.
Stir in icing sugar until smooth.
Spread over crumb mixture.
Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before cutting into bars.
