Ingredients
- 1 cup mushrooms, diced
- ½ red onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Vegetable oil, for cooking
Directions
- In a large bowl, mix together the mushrooms, onion, garlic, egg, bread crumbs, chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, salt and pepper.
- Form the mixture into four patties, about ½ inch thick.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the vegetable oil.
- Carefully place the patties in the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve the burgers with your favorite toppings and enjoy!
