Ingredients
- 1 unbaked 9-inch deep-dish pie crust
- 2 cups fresh pumpkin puree
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup evaporated milk
Directions
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
- In a large bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree, white sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and salt. Beat in eggs and evaporated milk until smooth.
- Pour into the prepared pie crust.
- Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C), and continue baking for 40 to 50 minutes, or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
- Cool before serving.
