Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until combined.
  4. Slowly add the milk mixture to the flour mixture, whisking constantly, until the batter is smooth.
  5. Heat the oil in a 12-inch oven-safe skillet over medium heat for 2 minutes.
  6. Pour the batter into the skillet and transfer to the oven. Bake for 20 minutes, or until puffed and golden brown.
  7. Serve warm.
