  • 6 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons of salt
  • 8 eggs
  • 7-8 cups of all-purpose flour

  2. Add the oil, salt, and eggs and stir to combine.
  3. Add the flour, 1 cup at a time, stirring to combine after each addition. Continue adding flour until the dough is no longer sticky.
  4. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 10 minutes.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  6. Punch the dough down and knead for 5 minutes.
  7. Divide the dough into 3 equal pieces and roll each piece into a long rope.
  8. Braid the 3 ropes of dough together.
  9. Place the braided dough on a greased baking sheet and let rise for 30 minutes.
  10. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
