Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 cup carrots, diced
  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup snow peas
  • 1/2 cup peanuts, chopped
  • 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil

Directions

  1. Heat the oil in a wok or skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the garlic, onion, carrots, mushrooms, and snow peas, and stir-fry for 5 minutes.
  3. Add the peanuts and stir-fry for another 2 minutes.
  4. Stir in the hoisin sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil, and cook for 1 minute.
  5. Serve over steamed rice.
