Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 (15 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato paste
- 1 cup uncooked macaroni
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
Directions
- In a large microwave-safe bowl, melt butter in the microwave.
- Add onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add ground beef and cook until no longer pink, about 5 minutes.
- Add paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper and stir to combine.
- Stir in tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, and tomato paste.
- Add macaroni and stir to combine.
- Cover and microwave for 10 minutes, stirring halfway through cooking time.
- Uncover and stir. Sprinkle with cheese and microwave for an additional 2 minutes, until cheese is melted and macaroni is cooked through.
- Serve hot.
