Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons ground cardamom
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Stir in the cardamom.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the creamed mixture and mix well.
- Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place on ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on wire racks.
