Ingredients
- 1 pound cooked chicken, diced
- 1 cup cooked red beans
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- In a large pot, heat a tablespoon of oil over medium heat.
- Add the onion and garlic and cook until the onion is translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Add the chicken, red beans, chicken broth, oregano, basil, and smoked paprika. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve.
