Ingredients

  • 2 plantains, peeled and mashed
  • 1 cup of roasted and salted peanuts, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon of ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup of vegetable oil

Directions:

  1. In a medium bowl, mash the plantains until they are smooth.
  2. Add the peanuts, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg, and mix until all of the ingredients are combined.
  3. Add the vegetable oil, and mix until it is incorporated into the mixture.
  4. Using your hands, form the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool before serving.
