Ingredients
- 2 lb. beef tenderloin, trimmed
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped
- 1 teaspoon fresh oregano, chopped
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
Directions
- In a medium bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic, rosemary, thyme, oregano, black pepper, and sea salt.
- Place the trimmed beef tenderloin in a large resealable bag, and pour the herb-garlic-pepper mixture over the beef.
- Seal the bag and place it in the refrigerator to marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight.
- When ready to cook, preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Place the beef tenderloin on the grill and cook for 8-10 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 135°F for medium-rare. Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness.
- Remove the beef from the grill and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
