Ingredients

  • 1 pound of ground sausage
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup of bread crumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon of dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
  • 1/4 cup of grated parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together sausage, onion, bread crumbs, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, Worcestershire sauce, egg, oregano, salt and pepper.
  3. On a lightly floured surface, roll out puff pastry into a rectangle.
  4. Spread the sausage mixture evenly onto the puff pastry. Sprinkle the parmesan cheese over the top of the sausage.
  5. Roll up the puff pastry, starting at one end and rolling to the other. Place seam side down onto a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
  7. Let cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.
