Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. of lean beef, cut into thin strips
  • 1/2 cup of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup of soy sauce
  • 1 tsp. of garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp. of mesquite-flavored liquid smoke
  • 1/2 tsp. of freshly ground black pepper

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, garlic powder, liquid smoke, and pepper. Stir until all ingredients are combined.
  2. Add the beef strips to the mixture and use your hands to mix the ingredients together until all of the beef is evenly coated.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the beef strips on the sheet in a single layer.
  4. Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake at 275°F for 45 minutes.
  5. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and let the beef strips cool completely before serving.
