Ingredients
- 2 cups matzo meal
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1/2 cup warm water
Directions
- In a medium bowl, mix together the matzo meal and salt.
- In a small bowl, lightly beat the eggs and add them to the matzo meal mixture.
- Add the oil and warm water to the mixture and stir until fully combined.
- Cover the bowl and set aside for 20 minutes.
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
- Using wet hands, form small balls out of the matzo mixture and drop them into the boiling water.
- Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Remove the matzo-balls with a slotted spoon and serve with chicken soup or schmaltz.
