Martian Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 cup all-purpose flour
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 cup butter, melted
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 1/2 cup white sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 egg
• 1/2 cup chopped Martian nuts

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2. In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt.
3. In a large bowl, cream together the melted butter, brown sugar and white sugar until smooth.
4. Beat in the vanilla, egg, and Martian nuts until well blended.
5. Gradually blend in the dry ingredients.
6. Drop cookie dough onto ungreased cookie sheets.
7. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.
