Ingredients
3-4 lb boneless pork roast
1/4 cup orange marmalade
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
1 teaspoon dried sage
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Mix together the garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, rosemary, sage, salt and pepper in a small bowl.
Rub the spice mixture all over the pork roast.
Place the pork roast in a greased roasting pan.
In a separate bowl, mix together the orange marmalade and 1/4 cup of water.
Pour the marmalade mixture over the pork roast.
Bake in the preheated oven for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, or until the internal temperature of the pork is 145°F.
Let the roast rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Interesting Facts
The pork roast can also be cooked in a slow cooker if desired.
The marmalade glaze can be made with other types of fruit preserves such as apricot or raspberry.
The pork roast can be served with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a salad.
