The steak is marinated in a flavorful blend of soy sauce, garlic, and Worcestershire sauce, resulting in a tender and juicy piece of meat. The tangy horseradish cream adds a creamy and spicy kick that perfectly complements the steak. Serve this dish with roasted vegetables and mashed potatoes for a complete and satisfying meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pounds flank steak
  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 3 tablespoons prepared horseradish
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Directions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, and black pepper.
  2. Place the flank steak in a zip-top bag and pour the marinade over it. Seal the bag and refrigerate for 4-6 hours, turning the steak occasionally to evenly coat it with the marinade.
  3. Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Remove the steak from the marinade and discard the marinade.
  4. Grill the steak for 4-5 minutes per side, or until desired doneness. Remove from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together the sour cream, horseradish, lemon juice, and chopped parsley to make the horseradish cream.
  6. Slice the steak thinly against the grain and serve with the horseradish cream on the side.
