Ingredients
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Directions
- In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, basil, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Place the chicken in a shallow dish or large ziplock bag and pour the marinade over the chicken. Make sure the chicken is evenly coated with the marinade.
- Cover the dish or seal the bag and place it in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or up to 24 hours.
- When ready to cook, remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade.
