Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C). Grease an 8-inch square baking pan.
- Melt butter and chocolate in a saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat, stir in sugar, and let cool for 10 minutes.
- In a small bowl, lightly beat eggs with a fork. Stir in cooled chocolate mixture and vanilla.
- In a medium bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually stir into chocolate mixture.
- Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let cool in pan before cutting and serving.
