Ingredients
1/2 cup butter
2 ounces unsweetened chocolate
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C). Grease an 8-inch square baking pan.
Melt butter and chocolate in a saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat, stir in sugar, and let cool for 10 minutes.
In a small bowl, lightly beat eggs with a fork. Stir in cooled chocolate mixture and vanilla.
In a medium bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually stir into chocolate mixture.
Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let cool in pan before cutting and serving.
